Heaven on Earth greetings to you in Jesus name. All through scriptures, godliness has proved to be the foundation for all-round profitable living. As it is written:
“…godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come” – 1 Timothy 4:8
But what is sanctification worth?
- It takes sanctification to access and enjoy our inheritance in Christ – Acts 20:32, Psalm 84:11, I Timothy 4:8
- It also takes sanctification to secure eternity with Christ – 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Galatians 5:19-22, Revelations 21:5-8
Furthermore, sanctification provides us access to the following specific blessings among others:
- Answered Prayers – Isaiah 59:1-2, Psalm 66:18
- Fresh Unction – Luke 5:37-38, Psalm 45:6-8, Isaiah 61:1-7
- Divine Secrets – Psalm 25:14, John 15:14-15, Job 29:4-18
- Divine Health – Mark 2:1-12, John 5:1-8, 14
- Supernatural Breakthroughs – Psalm 112:1-3, Jeremiah 17:11, Isaiah 51:1-3
- Signs and Wonders – Proverbs 28:1, Acts 14:3, Hebrews 10: 35
- Grace and Glory – Psalm 84:11, Romans 6:1, etc
All the above are the reason why we are constantly in a spiritual battle for sanctification. Satan wants us robbed of the amazing blessings of righteousness. In fact, there is a spiritual war over the life of every believer 24 hours of every day (Ephesians 6:10-12, Luke 22:31, 2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
This is why we must stay spiritually awake at all times because if we surrender to the spirit of slumber, we shall become vulnerable to the forces of filthiness (Matthew 13:23-28, Ephesians 5:14)
It is also important to note that, righteousness is not just who we are in Christ but also what we do to prove who we are. This is why we are told to work out our salvation with fear and trembling (1 John 3:7, Philippians 2:12).
This makes the war against sin to be the fiercest battle believers face (Hebrews 12:1-4, Zechariah 3:1-5). However, it should be noted that:
- Godliness is not a state of sinlessness, but a desperation to please God as a lifestyle – 1 Timothy 4:7, Acts 24:16, Philippians 1:21
- Godliness is a conscious acknowledgement of one’s sins and shortcomings, praying for forgiveness, cleansing and victory – Proverbs 28:13, Psalm 51:1-4, 1 John 1:8-10, Matthew 6:9-11
- Godliness is not a state of perfection, but a tireless “press” towards perfection – Philippians 3:10-14, 1 Peter 1:16, Matthew 5:48
We must all rise up as individuals to confront every spirit of uncleanliness that may be arrayed against our lives, by engaging all the spiritual forces at our disposal.
Therefore, the prophetic focus for December 2015 is:
ONLY THE SANCTIFIED ARE ORDAINED TO BE GLORIFIED – 2 Timothy 2:19-21
Finally, we should all reposition our vessels in sanctification so as not to miss out of divine encounters at Shiloh 2015, ordained to launch every Winner into the realm of “From Glory to Glory”. Therefore, we must prepare as individuals to meet with our God at Shiloh 2015 (Amos 4:12).
Remember, godliness may be costly, but the end result is priceless (Hebrews 11:24-26, Genesis 39:9-12, Genesis 41:38-44, 2 Corinthians 4:17).
