You will recall how Christ called us individuals to occupy till He comes, that it, to engage with kingdom business till He returns (Luke 19:13-19, Luke 2:49).
He also taught us to pray kingdom-advancement prayers daily (Matthew 6:9-11, Luke 18:1-18).
Obviously, prayer has proved to be the key to continuous and unending growth of the church (Acts 2:47).
This is why every growing church is a praying church and every praying church is a growing church (Acts 1:14, Acts 2:1-4, 37-41, Acts 3:1-6, Acts 4:4, Acts 5:12, 14, Acts 6:4-7).
As it is written,
“Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion TRAVAILED, she brought forth her children.” – Isaiah 66:7-8
Above is where ‘Operation 6678’ is coined from. It is all about engaging the kingdom-advancement prayer altar to generate supernatural church growth and secure our own supernatural advancement in return this year.
As discovered from scriptures, prayer is one of the major ways we serve God and the interest of His kingdom on earth (Matthew 9:37-38, Matthew 26:40).
The apostles of Christ declared,
“we would give ourselves wholly to prayers and the ministry of the Word” – Acts 6:4
We also saw how a widow by the name of Anna served God with prayer and fasting day and night in the temple – Luke 2:37
Jesus said in his teachings on prayer that God is committed to reward openly, our secret investments in prayer and fasting for the advancement of His kingdom (Matthew 6:6, 17-18).
We discover also, that all known vital forces of explosive church growth are set into motion from the altar of prayer and this is why the prayer altar is a covenant platform for explosive church growth experience all through ages (Acts 6:4, 7, Luke 11:21-22, Acts 5:12, 14)
For example, through the prayer altar, we can engage:
- The Ministry of the Holy Spirit, who is the Lord of the Harvest, for waves of convictions, conversions and massive ingathering of souls across our harvest field (Luke 11:13, John 16:9-11, Acts 2:4-6, 37, 41, Isaiah 5:26, Numbers 11:31).
- The Ministry of the Word, which facilitates sustainable church growth (Ephesians 6:19, Acts 6:7, Matthew 24:28, John 6:66-68).
- The Mystery of the Blood that releases all captives from the hold of the wicked and rescues them for salvation (Exodus 12: 31-36, 42, 1 Corinthians 5:7, Revelation 12:11).
- The Ministry of Angels, who are reapers of the end-time harvest for massive influx of souls into the church (Matthew 13:39, Revelation 14:14, 16, Matthew 26:53).
- The Ministry of Signs and Wonders, which constitute an all-time effective sickle of harvest in drafting multitudes into the church (Acts 4:30-33, Acts 5:12, 14).
- In travailing prayers, demanding the retainership of all our new converts and new members (Colossians4:!2, Galatians 4:19, Isaiah 66:7-8).
- The Ministry of Thanksgiving and Praise for explosive church growth (Jeremiah 30:19, Joel 1:12, Acts 2:47).
Our covenant keeping God has not asked anyone to seek Him in vain and has vowed to reward everyone according to his own labor (Isaiah 45:19, 1 Corinthians 3:8).
All we need is to endeavour to serve Him acceptably, that is, serving God willingly, faithfully, diligently, joyfully and tirelessly, among others (1 Corinthians 9:17, Luke 19:17-19, Proverbs 22:29, Deuteronomy 28:47-48, Galatians 6:9).
And as we do, we should also expect the following return among others: health and vitality, exemptions from all evils, supernatural breakthroughs, and long life (Exodus 23:25, Malachi 3:18, Jeremiah 30:19-21, Exodus 23:25-26).
In the light of the above, we shall be engaging in intense kingdom-advancement prayers both as a church and as individuals all through the month of July 2016.
It is on this note that I flag off the 5th Phase of the wonder-double prophetic agenda, with its first operation captioned; ‘Operation 6678’, which runs from 4th – 31st July 2016, in the name of Jesus Christ, the Master Builder of the Church, amen and amen.
There shall be evening prayer sessions and at the same time, midweek services shall hold in every of our local assemblies and this shall hold every day of the week throughout this month except for Saturdays, which are set apart for WSF.
We look forward to explosive dimensions of church growth, where almost whole cities, towns and villages will flock into our churches in the course of this awesome month, which is the second half of the midst of the year, where God has ordained to manifest His raw power by clearing off all everlasting mountains and perpetual hills from our paths and empowering us to ride upon our high places (Acts 13:44, Habakkuk 3:3-6, 17-19).
My prayer is that each one of us shall have a mountain of transfiguration order of testimonies as a result of our engagement on the prayer altar all through this month, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
