All through scriptures and in our contemporary times, prayer and fasting has proved to be a platform or provoking supernatural empowerment and divine intervention of all sorts (Psalm 63:1-3, Matthew 17:19-21, Ezra 8:21-23, 2 Chronicles 20:3-24).
It is a proven platform for provoking supernatural breakthroughs (Isaiah 58:8-12, 2 Corinthians 11:27, Luke 4:1-12, 37, Acts 14:11, Acts 19:14-15).
Prophetically, another midst of the year is here, and as we all know, the midst of the year is made up of the months of June and July with five months on either side of the divide.
Furthermore, we understand from the book of Habakkuk that the midst of the year is ordained as a season of divine visitation, where God among others:
- Revives His work and makes known His Power: Habakkuk 3:2-4
- Levels out all our everlasting mountains and perpetual hills: Habakkuk 3:6, John 12:24-26
- Supernaturally changes the levels of His people who are committed to advancing His kingdom: Habakkuk 3:17-19
But what is this proclaimed fast all about in specifics?
From the ministry of Jesus, it is observed that:
- Prayers that are not specific do not qualify for answers: Mark 10:46-52
- Whatever is too big for us to ask is too big for us to receive: Matthew 7:7-8
- Our God is unlimited in capacity and there is nothing too hard for Him: Ephesians 3:20, Jeremiah 32:17
This fast is proclaimed specifically to access among others:
- A next levels of empowerment for us both as a church and as individuals: Habakkuk 3:2, Psalm 63:1-3
- To make specific demands on the number of souls each of us desire to bring into the kingdom and into this church during this prophetic season that ends on the 26th of June, 2016: 1 Corinthians 3:6-8, 1 Samuel 1:13, 19
- To see the 2016 prophetic word fulfilled in our lives, both as a church and as individuals: 1 Timothy 1:18, Deuteronomy 2:24
- To see ‘Operation Possess the Land’ fully deliver its church attendance goal for this quarter come June 26th 2016: Deuteronomy 2:36
- To provoke supernatural breakthroughs leading to our prophetic minimum of four quantum leap testimonies ordained for the year: Isaiah 58:8-12, Habakkuk 3:6, 17-19
- To see the number of cells double where we were as at 16th January 2016 come June 25, 2016: Exodus 1:7, Acts 5:28
- For divine intervention for our nations: Jeremiah 29:7, Psalm 122:6

In light of the above, a 7-day fast is hereby proclaimed in all our churches worldwide to run from Monday 30th May to Sunday June 5th 2016 for fanning the ongoing revival fire, culminating in explosive church growth, towards the full delivery of Operation Possess the Land, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen.
May everyone partaking of this fast return supernaturally empowered and see prophecies fulfilled in their lives like a dream of the night. Amen.
